What are the benefits of turning off O/D?? tried it today, didn't really sense any difference!

all over drive is, is another gear. it would be like haveing a 5speed and not shifting into 5th. most people leave it off when running the 1/4 so you can really wined out 3rd (if you have a 4 speed auto).
also 4th gear in the autos is real steap. mostly for freeway driving, so when the tranny shifts into 4th, the rpms drop below the powerband and thats not good when racing.
