Ok here are the following sensors and then
some That my father has checked with his
scanner:

O2 sensor .13 - .95 ( jumps all over the place
does not stay in one spot )

Coolant Temp w/180 T/S is at 169.2 fully
warmed up.

TPS AT .5v

Map at 10.6 v

Adapt Fuel #1 0 us

Adapt Factor 96.7%

Baro Pressure 29.6 in-Hg

Module Advance 11.0 BTC

Vacuum 18.7

Injector PW 1.9

IAT 1.8k ohm

These are the following results and according
to my father...all of the previous is right at it
should be except for the trouble codes for
Below normal engine Temp.

Reply To any of what I posted and tell me
whats wrong with the V8 TB...cause...I see no
gains again....not trying to be a prick...but I
think I wasted my time and money on this
mod.

The "Below normal engine Temp" codes may be the clue you need to solve this. If it never goes into closed-loop so it runs on the computer due to the engine never being warm enough, the engine will only run on fixed values. Try another thermostat of the 180 type or, for a short time, try a 195 degree one. Make sure the computer is going into closed loop and not getting any codes. It won't learn about your mods until it gets into closed loop.

Yeah, I agree with the above post...169 is not hot enough to get the computer in a closed loop, I would try a new thermostat. What is a few bucks on a thermo, it might save you alot of time and frustration.

Yes Yes Yes

The comp needs to see at least 170 to go into
closed loop.

Its either your thermostat opening to soon or the
sensor which is located down next to the thermo
A/C side with 2 wires on it, the one one the other
side Alt side is the guage sending unit.

You need to fix this prob if the computer never
goes into closed loop the truck will not run
right.

You can check the sensor yourself with a digatal
volt meter, a thermometer right in the coolent
to see actual temp.

Just put table in the search on this board and you
will find the temp to ohms table for the sensor.

A new sensor is aroud $6

Everything else looks good o2 working just right

Thanx Larry I was wondering if it was good...cause my father said its running like a beauty and he said due to a cooler t/s the engine has to put more fuel into the engine to warm it up...so ill try another 180 or it could be that it is like 35-40 degrees down here and the t/s is just a little off.

Mike

I have the same prob with the 180 up here in
northern wisconsin.

I just put a cardboard soda case in front of the
rad, but if it goes above 40 you will need to
remove it.

I also just replaced my temp sensor it was reading
about 15 degrees to cold

On my new scanner it was 170.6 just making it in
the cold here.

But I am growing tired of switching out the thermo
every winter and it runs like crap with the 195
I get lots of pinging when I get on it.

I will be writing a product review and how to on
scan tools for this board in the next week or so.

Just got a new Auto XRay scanner an invaluble tool
for these trucks, OBD 1 88 to 95 $140 OBD 2 96
to currant year $200 a worth while investment

One thing I would do is get you TPS voltage up to
.7 .75 you will have a lot better throttle
response and the higher voltage will also make
the trans react quicker when you hit it to drop
out of O/D

Check the voltage right at the sensor with a
digatal volt meter, center wire and ground and
let me know what you get at the sensor and see
if its the same as what the scanner read.

I want to know because I ran into an intristing
prob the other day.

Thanks
