Hi guys,
I am trying to index my distributor and I have a couple of questions about it.When using the actron CP7678 multimeter(www.actron.com/cp7678.pdf)
,where exactly am I setting the rotary switch to? I think, that's it suppose to be on the 20k ohms setting. But,I am not really sure.
I have loosen the bolt to the distributor to the point where it is almost out and lifted up on the plate holding the distributor. But,I just can't get the distributor to budge.(move) It seems like,it is almost stuck in it's current position. Any Ideals?
TIA.

Do it the easy way just turn clockwise only 32mm
crank bolt line up TDC and be sure the rotor is
pointing at the #1 plug wire.

Now just center the rotor over the CYL line on the
pickup plate in the Dist. look straight down over
rotor. and push counterclockwise on the rotor to
remove any play

0 to +3 degrees and it will run good.
