Need some advise folks. I have a limited budget so my goal is to get about 80% or so of the benefit of a mod without paying for the absolute best on the following:
1) intake - I'm thinking Intense Performance or Quick D (rather than spend the extra $70 for K&N).
2) cat back - I've seen some posts saying that the stock exhaust system is ok if you just replace the stock muffler. I'm thinking a Dynomax 17748 (I want a slightly more agressive sound).
3) headers - JBA seems the way to go, but what about the ceramic coating?
I already have Hughes Engines modified throttle body (again a budget issue) and am already sold on buying a IAT adjuster.
Any advise?

hmmm, you gotta v6?? I've heard that magnaflow sounds better on sixers than dynomax, and I have a magnaflow, mine was $80, i got the hookup, so my tip was free. A Dyno for my dad's truck was $95!

where are ya'll from?.....that's a lot of money for a muffler! i bought a flowmaster at the local speedshop for $69 and i thought i was getting nailed because Summit Racing has them for $59...i like dynomax but the flow gives a more hollow sound.....pretty cool

just get a new muff and new intake....you can purchase cheap ones for less or spend more to get better quality....
