HI FIRST TIME LOOKING AROUND IN HERE BUT I HAVE NOTICETED THE GEN 3 DAKS CANT COMPARE TO THE GEN 2 DAKS EXPECIALLY THE 92-93 DAKS IN STOCK QT TIMES AND MODIFIED QT TIMES. I HAD A 93 SPORT SB STANDARD CAB 5SPD V6 DAK AND IT RAN 15.9 STOCK. THAT WAS WITH A SURE GRIP. BUT WITH MODS SUCH AS A REGULAR V8 TB (FOR 50 BUCKS NOT ONE OF THOSE 300 DOLLAR RIP OFFS),MOPAR PERFORMANCE PCM,OPEN 3"K&N,JBA HEADERS,AND GIBSON EXHUAST IT RAN 15.1 IN THE QUARTER. 15.1 AND FOR ABOUT 750 BUCK WORTH OF MODS NOT BAD CONCIDERING SOME OF U GEN 3 BOYS HAVE INVESTED MUCH MORE THAN THAT FOR NOT AS GOOD PERFORMANCE.

The Gen-III trucks are also about 500lbs heavier. Shave the 500lbs off and they're quicker than the Gen-II's. ;)
(We're just not doing this to make you feel good.)

If you're referring to the VTEC email...i'm still wondering what you are thinking. (I know the theory and operation...but it may be too hard to do on a OHV engine.)

Ill give you a shout at the shop tomorrow if you
want to chat about it, I thought of that problem
and I think ive come up with an ok
solution(heat and solenoids dont mix as well
as high turnover rate) i dont want to give it all
away but actuator and timing relay are some
good clues to my solution. I dont know maybe
we are thinking of two different problems,
which is why two heads are better than one! ;-)

I don't know how long it lasted but some of the gen II daks have 5 more hp, add that to the 500lbs less and that could be the reason they are faster. It a good thing my truck is outside IntenseDak, you could have hurt it's feelings;)

i'll admit it....i've always wanted a dak...anyway i could have it! the new body style came out when i was 16 i believe and i got mine when i was 18...what got me to buy it was the color (had to have intense) and the sunroof. settled for the sixer because i couldnt find a sunroof on a V8 (sad, i know)!

yeah intense blue looks awesome. I saw an intense blue dropped RT with chrome rims... made me think back to the time that I could have bought an RT at damned huntington dodge but no I hat to be like...no I want 4x4, blahblah blah ...ugh...makes me so mad....errrrr

i saw this fully loaded dak one day...
318 cc 4x4 31" tires....everything...couldn't trade in my truck because they saw the nos solenoids....d@mn!
the great part was it was only $14,000....and i knew a guy at the dealer that could cut me a deal!
