 Subject: Wiring Harness

Hey everyone. I have a 97 Dak I have xenon blue headlights that are 95/115 watts. They keep burning out/blowing up. Does anyone have any suggestions why? Someone told me that I need to upgrade my headlight wiring harness to handle that much wattage or I will blow the harness too. Does this sound right? Let me know

APC makes a wiring harness for just about every type of headlight bulb. I have the harness and it is awesome it gives you 14.4 volts right to the light as well.

Yeah I know their bright. Thats what is awesome about them. Other people flash their brights at me because they think they are my brights. But Im not worried about it. What is the wattage for stock lights?

I have the same bulbs....When u put them in dont touch them with ur fingers. The oil from they will make the bulbs blow really quick. Where cotton gloves or just be carfull and just touch the plastic.

i think the stocks are like 55 watts. man i hope i don't cross you on the road somewhere. your lites might blind me and cause a head on.
