go to the dealer and found out what weight you can pull max.with my dakota i have a 3.9 3.55 rear gears and a custom fit class 4 hitch i pull a 30 ft camper that weights 7,380 fully loaded and my dakota is fine plus you need to get hitch wiring weight distrubution bars oil&tranny cooler
