who will win? being that dodge has been whoopin ass since 92 with the vipers v10 everone else has decided to come out with a v10 too. look at the facts, ford has 2 new v10 coming out, lamboghini (?) has a new v10 and so does porche. are they all catching on and realizing that their $200,000 car is getting spanked by a $70,000 car? and now ford thinks they can take on the new srt-ram with a new lightning? how nieve can they be? hennessy used only 3psi of boost a peice from 2 turbos to make a viper jump from 450 hp tp 833. estimated they said it would run 0-60 in 3.3 secs, when it ran it did 2.43 (with the a/c running did the 1/4 in 9.9). now they estimate 5.2 for the new srt ram, i wonder what ford will do when they realize they have just lost the fastest production truck title. also if anyone has any info on a superchip or jet chip for a 95 3.9 dakota, please let me know

My friend took me for a ride in his Viper and almost killed me. Truck backed out onto a two lane road while we were going about 125mph. The thing was still accelerating and we had two gears left to go. I drag raced for years and that car flat out scared me. If you can get a ride in one with a competent driver, you gotta experience that.

Fastest thing I drove was a 99 corvette...my
father was putting some performance parts
onto it..(not his...his friends) and when I drove
it afterwards...tha thing was a damn bullit...and
I don';t think I can imagaine what the srt-10
would be like...DAM!

chrysler bought lamboghini in the late 80s
if my memory serves me correctly on the date,
and a few years later sold them.
this is probaly where the v10 tech came from for the viper more then likely,because right after they sold the company mopar came out with the viper.

Try a 1970 cuda with a hemi dropped into it and turned into a pure dragster :) now thats one hell of a ride, nothing like lifting the front end of your vehical off the ground from the line as you make a 1/4mile pass :D

vern, your right about crysler buying the lambo back in the day but that ain't where the v10 came from. in 88 and 89 caroll shelby and lamborgini teamed up to help design the viper, but i don't think lambo had a v10 then........i am glad they put that in there though the the first viper concept had a 360 in it

actually, chrysler f&$%ed up the lamborghini and the v10 has nothing to do with s&%# because the countach came with a v12...not this pussy v10 chrysler is using....
