is it just me or is the r/t dakota vs lightning out of the question? dodge uses a natually aspired v8 and ford can't take the heat so they have to supercharge everything any time they get some competition (lightning, harley davidson) dodge could easily take over bye supercharging a 4.7 but they simply choose to leave their options open.

I was watching a street race by my
house..between a hemi ram and a ford
lightning...and damn that ram did not lose as
much as i thought it did...but up to 60 the ram
lost to the lightning by like 1 3/4 truck
length...not bad considering the lightning has
like 35-40 horse more

Talking on this topic, do you ever find it weird that the "car magazines" pit the Chevy SS, Ford SVT or Lightening, vs a Dodge with a HEMI. Now why would you put the fastest Chevy and Ford vs. a Dodge that is nothing really special (nice HP and Torque). Why don't they put the best of each maker on the line, and yes that is a DODGE R/T 10. Yes more cylinders, but the best is the best, and if dodge put a supercharger on the HEMI, you might want to leave your doors at home.

sport truck just did a comparison on the 2004
trucks f150,colorado,chevy ssr,tundra,titan,srt-10,
it was,nt the best comparison,2x4,4x4,4dr,sport truck,special interest
6th colorado,5th f150,4th tundra,3rd ssr,2nd srt-10 1/4 mi 13.11,145mph top speed ran out of track,handle like a sports car,1st titan
best,more interior room,good power,best all around.

1st place depended on how much the Auto maker payed Sport Truck. Since Nissan shelled out the most cash: Nissan won first place.
I personally think that those truck are as ugly as my aZZ. It reminds me too much of those nasty ferds.

Kenny Bell is making an S/C for the hemi but not
done tunning it yet and already over 500 ponies
I will be getting one of the first ones out and
than lets see how a ford lighting stands up
$4900 including the intercooler
Fair is fair if they have an S/C why not the hemi
