Subject: Gearing Lable IP: Logged
Message: Where can I look on my truck to find out what gears it has? I have a '94 3.9L. I've check in the glove box and there is no sticker, the sticker in the driver side door doesn't say either. I checked the one under the hood, but if it is there, its not clearly labeled. The only number that even looks like a gear ratio is 3.988, and I don't think that's it.

Message: Should be on the sticker under the hood that is
where it was on my 94.
You probably have the 8.25 with 3.55 gears they
are the most common in 94
runs around 1800 to 1900 at 60 4X4
runs around 1500 to 1600 at 60 2 wheel
The 4X4's came with a higher stall converter in
those years

Message: Well I am running like 1800 rpms when im
doing 60 and about 2200 when doing 70.
Whats wrong with mine....does it have
anything to do with the trans or what?
