its really not worth it to supercharge a v6..because they run about the same times in the 1/4 as a 5.9 does..there both close to the same price for the swap and the supercharge set up so its pretty much up to the owner but after you supercharge you cant do alot more..but you can install a v8 and then supercharge it later on dowm the road..its up to you though

If you already have a V-6 and don't want to trade for a V-8 go for a supercharger. I put the Powerdyne that was made for the 318-360 on my 98 V-6 three years ago and it is a blast to drive. Along with it I have a modified t/b, cat back, 180 t/s, electric fan, full Hotchkis sport suspension, 16 in. Prime wheels w/ Falken tires. I estimated the h/p at a conserative 190 before the s/c and plugged into Superchargers.com calculator it estimated 267 hp at crank and 214 hp at wheels. Needless to say it has surprised many larger engined vehicles. It also gets a very respectable 21-22 mpg on the highway. I bought this truck new in 98 and did all the work myself when I was 58 years old. Us old farts like to have fun too.

lol...dakotakid...you're one old fart I prolly wouldn't be too pissed off at if I was behind you. At least you sound like you'd go the speed limit (and not 10-15 under), if not over a lil. :)
