Subject: Will the dealer replace all recalls IP: Logged
Message: My question is: If I have something wrong with my truck, and I look it up on AllDATA.com, will the dealer be required to fix it. How about the Technical Service Bulletins? Does it have to still be under warranty
Thanx

Message: Depends on your warrantee, on your 93 did'nt they
have the 100,000 drivetrain don't remember the
length in years.
Than they went to 7/70,000

Message: Dealers are NEVER required to fix a TSB. A TSB is simply a notification to the dealer that a certain item or procedure has changed.
Recalls, OTOH, are issued by the NHTSB, NOT THE MANUFACTURER, and the dealer MUST comply with the recall or they can be charged criminally.
