I have 95 dak sport v6 3.9
When the weather gets below 50 degrees
it will kill in idle until I warm it up for 10 min.
Once she gets warm she will run all day.
no problems in 70 degrees.

thank you for any help.

I am having the same problem as you, last year i cleaned up the tb and sensors, and that helped/fixed the problem.

Check your O2 sensor, recommended change at approx. 60,000 miles.

Check your IAT and Engine temp sensor,

Here is an earlier thread that tells you how to
check them.

If either of these 2 sensors are not working right
and telling the comp the engine is cold they will
not idle when cold

Also check your PCV valve and IAC

Try replacing the EGR valve. I had the same problem on my 95 v6 Dakota. The port on the intake manifold was almost blocked solid with carbon. With a new valve and a clean port it's running great! Hope this helps.

My 98 v-6 had basically the same prob. Ping hard, ran rich when 1st started, then stalled every time the clutch was pushed in. Once it warmed up, it was ok. Read a lot of posts, took a guess on the temp. sensor. $13 @ Advance Auto.
After removing the Alt, and finally finding the stupid thing, replaced the sender and all seems well! No more stalling, no more rich running. The thing I don't like about it is you have to remove the alt or be a circus freak to get to the thing.
Can't wait to start to mod this thing!
Good luck!
