Subject: buying TB from car-part.com?
IP: Logged

Message:
I am anxious to get a v8 TB for my '93 3.9 and no local junkyards have any(well one can get it but for $120) I was looking on car-part.com and they show 'em for as much as $125 or more and for as little as $45. Has anybody had any experience buying a part like this cheap from the internet? They are also calling it a "throttlebody/throttle valve housing" I am assuming that throttle valve housing is the same thing? thanx...

Thats how I got mine. I paid 65 for it including shipping and it had all the sensors. I just cleaned it all up and it works fine.

Just be sure you are getting the right one.

Your 93 has the EGR and you would need a V8 body
from a 92 to 95.

Yes they will bolt right on but you may also need
a V8 cable depending on your exsisting linkage
