Tom....mods sound good....there are a lot more you can do, too...i would like a new cam but i don't want to do the head work.....you may have the same power that the rt is putting out but with those standard 3.92 gears they might still be able to take you!
how is that shiftkit....i am trying to talk myself into buying it?
just got the email.....did no good...couldn't find it....what was your torque?

Oh yeah, there are more mods on the way... Remember, I have the inside track(We've talked about a certain mod through e-mails)...
I'm only running 3.55 gears and she ran 15.370, at 86.82mph in the 1/4 mile, The only mods she had then was the exhaust, and the K&N air filter.
After I had to rebuild the motor (thanks to head gaskets, she was only running 15.7's...due to an intake that was not modified properly...have not gotten the chance yet to see what she will do kno, but she has got a lot more oomph now... I did have headers on it at one time, but they were not the right ones...they got dinged by the upper control arm on the passenger side...this dyno run was with the stock exhaust manifolds...
she dynoed at 193hp and 245 torque... about an hour after driving From Dallas to Austin.
I love my shift kit...I went the Firm (not harsh) route and she rocks...
Once the next mod is done, there won't be too many RT's that will hang with it...

i am hoping to get 200 at the wheels naturally aspirated when i am done....i am going to work on the intake manifold a little and maybe polish the heads a little....so far i have run a best of 9.8 in the quarter....i still have the stock 3.55s though:(

Well, I guess its ok. I get my names from dead painters with fro's off of PBS. You, name yourself something that has to do with needing a truck. However pretty much irelevent to the post. As far as my posts go, on the V8 forum, most were on the offensive anyway. I was expecting negative feedback from those who disagreed with me. You would have realized this if you would have taken time to examine them thourgly. It maybe a bit on the foreign side to ya, but I like to question what sounds alittle unreasonable. You on the other hand, judging from most of your posts, sound like you've been induldging your lips on too many ass cheeks on this forum all together and also sounds like your alittle lacking in the balls department. Again... I try to remind all of you that I simply posted my opinion on what I thought of fords, intensedak noted he thought they were underpowered while i thought you were refering to their over all quality. It was a simple miscommunication error on my part, I admit. Any embarrasment I may have caused you Dakneeder was brought on by yourself, pal.

Now that I think about it... The only time I really remember getting any negative feedback from anyone on the 8 forum was when some guy tried to say Blown R/T's only run 14.9's. Now I dont know if any of you would argue with that or not. But things like that get under my skin and I cant help but to give them a peice of my mind and normally people dont like that. But, thats really the only bad experience I can recall. Somehow I became the little man for posting on a forum... I always was under the impression thats what there for Dakneeder.

hundred and 45 for 15 mph over?? jesus... I got pulled over for doing 80 in a 65 (ya indiana speed limits are still 65 but soon to be 70) Anyway it was only like 90 bucks. Just thought 145$ was quite a bit.
