My fogs won't work. I don't know what the problem is. I have changed the fuse and everything else I could think of. The switch inside does not light up like it is supposed to. What to do?

You need to check the switch, I had the same problem and a little plastic piece broke off. Autozone has them for about $30, otherwise the dealer is $70.

OK thanks, That was going to be the next thing I checked if that doesn't work I will buy some more bulbs to see if they may be the problem. I may want to get some more anyway so they will be brighter. Thanks

I just got through messing with the switch and I got them to come on for a minute and then when I went to put to switch back in the dash they didn't want to come back on so I took it back out and had no luck getting them to come on. What's the deal?

There is a small piece in there that will rubs against another and for some reason it doesn't work. Your best bet is to just spend the $30 and get a new switch. Good luck!

I am kind of short on cash right now considering that I now have a $300 truck payment. Is there anyway to fix it without having to buy the new peice?

I had the same problem. I just went to autozone and got a 1.99 rocker switch. Found wire for fog lights and rerouted them to switch. Mounted switch under dash. Problem solved. Total cost. 2.08, Total time ~ 30 min.

You guys need to quit being a$$holes, I know I don't have $30 to spend on a switch right now, I'd be looking for alternatives too... You must be the kind of people who pay $50 for your airfilter to be changed for you, huh?

Heck, mine won't work either - not after that old mongrel hound that was chasing a deer across I-40 realized he was in the wrong place at the wrong time, and decided - 2 steps from being off the road - that he should go back!
Old Yeller wiped out, truck bumper, fogs, grill and alignment wiped out - but at least I didn't hit the deer, which coulda caused some REAL damage.
$1,261 - truck going in for repairs Monday. I didn't realize that the dad-blamed bumper is plastic. What were they thinking, guys? I see now why people buy bushwackers!

Replaced switch ~ fuse ~ bulbs and relay ~ still no fog lights...any suggestions?
