Subject: ABS power brake IP: Logged
Message: I've heard a lot of people complaining because they can't do burn outs. I can do 'em all day long in my 5 spd, but I can't sustain them. I want to try power braking, but would the ABS kick in as soon as I touched the brake? I'm pretty sure that would be a bad thing.

Message: I don't think it will kick in. Try it and find out, it won't hurt anything.

Message: If it kicked in, then how would a lot of the newer trucks be able to participate in the burn-out contests at the tracks?

Message: Tried it out just a few mins ago. Too bad the pavment was wet. Didn't want to wait around for the tires to dry out. I did manage a standing burnout tho. woohoo!!!
Oh yea, I've got the 2wd which doesn't have a lsd, yet quite frequently my rear end gets loose when I do a burn out. I presume this means I'm spinning both tires even tho I don't have a locker.
