Hey guys and gals any of you from this site live in Michigan? I figure we could get togeather in the summer and run up to one of the local race tracks and do a few runs and have a barbucue..
I am here in the Macomb Saint Clair county area.. I figure we could do it in the summer when I dont have the 300 pounds of sand in the back of my truck :-) Cya Quick 6

I am near Benton Harbor. Sounds interesting if I can find the time. Would like to get on a track, hope to have all my mods done by next spring. The Lane Automotive Show is in Watervliet Memorial Day weekend also. It's free, stop by.

Hey Quick 6 & demon, im also from MI, the Kalamazoo area. Kinda in between both of ya. i would also be interested in getting to get together some time sounds like fun. The Lane Automotive car show would be a great place. always a good time and if you have never been to Lane Automotive. its well worth the drive. the store is absloutly (SP) awsome.

I have a 2000 flame red Ex-cab dakota sport 2wd. Ive only had it since july so the list of mods is kinda short. 2 1/2" cat back dual exahaust, homebrew intake W/K&N. Homebrew grill, window tint, MTX thunderform, Rescesed the amp into the underside the the small back seat( looks really cool, and you cant see any thing w/ the seats down. This last weekend i soundproofed the back area and swaped the stock rear speakers. Ive also painted the handles and the black molding above the ex-cab windows, and the front bumper all flame red to match. when i bought it already had a draw-tite soft cover and spray in bedliner. Next on the to-do list is either a rollpan or paint the rear bumper red, and red fender flares. Ive gotten in pretty deep with the entire Mopar thing. Three weeks after i got it I took it to the Mopar Nats. Now thats a fun time, 3rd year going and this year im gonna enter my truck to be judged.
BTW. My dad has a 99 4x4 solar yellow. with a grill, intake, duals & tinted windows. we both bought them within two days of each other, from the same dealer, and have done most of the mods at the same time.
sorry for rambling but i got a lot to say. its finally nice to meet someone else in MI, That are into Dakotas, everyone around here seems to be into ricers or s-10's.

Hey guys I think we should do a get togeather sooner than waiting till summer,any ideas? Is there any major Mopar speed shops here in Michigan?
I was thinking I would like to get my truck Dynoed before I get to many other mods on my truck..
I bought my truck this past sept 2 at Blue water Dodge in Port Huron. I normally would buy a 4x4 but I got good deal on this Black 2003 reg cab 2 wheel drive truck, I could not pass it up..
this is what I have put on my truck so far is tail light covers,remote start,Mopar hard tonnaue cover,home brew cold air intake with K&N cone filter, ventshade side window door deflector,Mopar bug sheild and Mopar bed liner and Dynomax super turbo muffler..
I also run Amsoil 0W-30 in the truck since 1000 miles and I have 6000 on her now..
Well enough about me what happened to Demon?
Hey guys I have some good news for ya if you guys would like any Mopar parts at a 25% discount I can help you out, I work for Mopar..
I know we all dont know each other yet but I know how everything costs a arm and a leg and if we can save some money why not..
Hey 2kDak your truck sounds nice, I would like to see your painted bumpers and door handles, because I want to do that to my truck as well.
I could go on with all the mods that I got coming up for my truck but it would take forever..
Guys I have a brand new v-8 throttle body if ayone is interested.. I want to get the fast man or F&B, I have not made up my mind yet..
2KDAK when where those Mopar nationals?
Well guys we need to get togeather, I think it is cool to see other guys trucks and the ideas that went into them..

Hello 2kdak I just sent a email to dakattacke03 about buying it.. If he dont want it you are more than welcome to it, I decided to buy the F&B instead of useing this one, The throttle body is brand new and I am including the accelerator cable it is new as well, actually I just ordered cable today and will be picking it up tommorow..
It normally goes on a 318.. If you want to put this on your 3.9 it has to be 1996 Dakota or newer.. The newer ones dont have the EGR hook up..
