 Subject: Pre-Magnum 3.9L Throttle body mods

Anybody know what you can do with the throttle body on a Pre-Mag 3.9L to help with torque and fuel efficiency, I know different things to do with the exhaust, just need to know what to do with intake.

oh yeah, just to double check would a 17748 dynomax super turbo work on a regular cab 6 ft bed 89 dak 3.9L 2wd

Yes the dynomax will fit
You can pull the injectors out and remove any
rough casting remove any steps and polish.
It will help accross the entire rpm range no earth
shattering HP to be had but a nice little mod
that will also help gas mileage.
Its what I did to my 88 3/4 ton 318 and it helped
this truck with 3.5 rear auto trans pulls 20 mpg
on the highway and around 17 hauling firewood
not to bad for a full size truck

i was also told somewhere else that a 17731 also fits an 89 Dakota
