Bernd, I noticed by the pics of your truck your engine bay looked a little bare in one spot. That plastic crap over top the fan and rad... it's gone.. would it be safe enough for me to take that off as well.. I already took that plastic flap on the passenger front side off, so I'm wondering what will happen if I take that other piece off as you did.

On our 2001 trucks that fan shroud encases the reservoirs for the coolant and windshield washer solvent so we have to leave ours on.

If you remove that fan shroud you will lose some of your cooling anyways. So it is not smart to take it off. If it runs hotter worse power. So slower trucks na we dont want that i know all of us want fast trucks

Bernd is running an electric fan with it's own shroud...you can't really see it in that picture...
