Just like every other guy, I don't have the lightest foot in the world. My 99 3.9 dak 5sp has 51k miles on it. At times like alot of us, I run it pretty hard and have since day one (not all of the time) but I was wondering if getting on it every now and then is hard on our V6's? Shold I go easier on it at this milage? Thanks for the opinions!

They hold up very well I had a 94 5 speed with
150,000 miles and bounced it off the rev limiter
every time I drove it. I bought the truck new
But not when it was cold let it get to operating
temp first.

Thanks for the info J and J. When should a 99 model dakota's rev limiter kick in? I've had mine up to 4000 and it seemed like it would have kept on going. Just curious!
