while back reset pcm started truck and farting and sputted etc... picked up whatever. Ok put v8 tb on awhile back try to reset pcm no fartin sputting about to cut off i dont think its reseting... could this be my battery b/c its old could it be somthing else is it suppose to do that about to cut off thing or what. I ask this b/c some say after 200 miles should "re-learn" well buddy it isnt. feels like a v6 tb on it i dunno what im doing wrong.... please help sorry dont have a real good s/n for here and havent joined so witsend will have to work

well with the battery ? i was asking if the voltage was low would it not stay "LEARNED"

Let it idle for about 5 min after the reset to
learn the idle

don't touch the gas at all

some trucks will do that

im going to do that now when i do the key thing do i turn it far as it can go or just to start position and hands off or have to hold far as key will turn? im running autolite 3923 could this be a prob i dunno brb gonna try the 5 minute thing ..........

well i just did it and the rpm needle was still moving at 5 minutes so i let keep running took like close to 10 stop moving so i cut off cut back on drove a lil bit and im happier now.
