Message: I have a 93 v6 with 128000. I replaced the plugs wire and did a tune up. I noticed that during hard acceleration I still get spark knock. I am using the autolite 3923 gapped at .40. Any suggestions on what I can do. I replaced the distributor cap with the one from Napa(brass).
Thanks

Message: You can also give your combustion chambers a good cleaning. Excessive carbon build-up on your pistons and valves can also cause Pinging. 2 Cans of Chemtool B-12, 1/2 tank of Super Unleaded and a Road trip to burn the fuel off. Follow with 1 more can of B-12 and a full tank of regular fuel and it will do wonders for your entire fuel system from the filter to the tail pipe. Good Luck

I will give them about another hour than start a

stumble around with less weight in there pockets.
