I have a 93 v6 with 128000. I replaced the plugs wire and did a tune up. I noticed that during hard acceleration I still get spark knock. I am using the autolite 3923 gapped at .40. Any suggestions on what I can do. I replaced the distributor cap with the one from Napa(brass).

If you don't live in a real cold area below 0 a
lot you can use a 180 thermo, it will help with
piston ping

You can also give your combustion chambers a good cleaning. Excessive carbon build-up on your pistons and valves can also cause Pinging. 2 Cans of Chemtool B-12, 1/2 tank of Super Unleaded and a Road trip to burn the fuel off. Follow with 1 more can of B-12 and a full tank of regular fuel and it will do wonders for your entire fuel system from the filter to the tail pipe. Good Luck

on vacation.
Man deer season is here alredy people flocking
to the area have a bunch here at my house just
waiting for morning to come drinking beer.
Glad I don't drink let them go with headaches
not me LOL
I will give them about another hour than start a
sheeps head game. It will be easyer for them to
stumble around with less weight in there pockets.
