Been having a problem lately with my 3.9 auto hesitating always when in O/D. Happens only when on highway running at constant speed (both when using CC and not). If I hit a grade or just ask for a little more it feels like it misses. New plugs and wires 20k ago, tran. fluid change 5k ago. Can't tell if it's missing or the trans. Never downshifts to 3rd. just goes straight to 2nd...

What year,
O2, EGR
The recomended replacement of the O2 is 60,000
and a bad one will make your truck do weird things
trying to adjust the air fuel with a bad signal
to the computer
A leaky EGR will give you hesitation that feels
like a miss if you step on it or let off it will
feel normal but with a steady throttle posision
it will serge and hesitate
