im sorry guys, i meant i cant beat 87-95 dakotas that have been totaled in car accidents. I just pull up to them and take off, and it makes me fell cool to be able to actually beat one. I have to be so specific, because one time i raced a totaled 97 dakota, and when i took off my tranny fell out, and i sh1t my pants. I just wish i owned a dakota, so i make fun of people who own them to try to make myself fell better.

I find it funny that people think dakotas are fast, hmm, yeah an r/t that runs mid 15's and it has a v8! Yeah thats fast! Not really, its pathedic, my v6 s10 runs a mid 15 with not too many mods, give me a v8 and easy 13-14's stock, i've beaten the 5.2 sport dakota many times in my s10, not by too much, just a car length or two but i still beat him so go on and tell me about how your crew cab 4x4's will eat me, only competition dodge has got for me is the r/t

I have a K&N intake, flowmaster exhaust, and an egr restrictor valve mod, i got all proff if needed. I run a reg cab/bed, 4.3 5spd with 3.08 gears, which are kinda sluggish and need a 3.42 or so. If he knows how to drive it he should easily beat you, if not then who knows, i went to the races the other week and there was a kid with my same truck and mods, intake, exhaust, 4.3 5spd, the best he could do was a 16.3, its all about the driver, my truck beats the 5.2 sports, like i said, i dont know about the 5.7's but i'm sure i could walk on the 6 cylinders. I'm sure dakotas are quick with mods and such but the v8's are unimpressive to me. Btw, i was running the 1/4 at 15.6@88mph with a lot of tirespin, boiled 2nd and chirped 3rd pretty good

not to be a dick but that wouldnt be stock. And the only V8 pick up truck that runs 14s stock is one motivated by a supercharger. Most regular cab RT's i have seen here (DFW) run 15.0-15.1's. Extended Cabs i have seen run 15.1-15.5's.
Now, how many STOCK V8 trucks do you REALLY know that can break 14 seconds in the 1/4?
BTW, i have doubt that you have read it, but Mopar Muscle (or maybe it was Mopar Now) took a stock Dakota RT Regular Cab and ran a 14.9 with it. All they did was remove the spare tire, jack, tailgate and part of the air intake...

Hey, that is a good idea, fuk i forgot i was troll, queer. Just because you probably drive a 6cylinder dakota 4x4 dont be mad. I'd like to see this article, give me some numbers. Put a stock 350 in an s10 and expect 14's, seen it done. I dont see what your getting at, i'm just stating, give an s10 about the same size engine, being a 350 cause 360's are junk and it will smoke it. A jack weighs what...a whole 3lbs?

The speed on a track has to do with power to weight along with traction (given the drivers are the same).
So you have a fast S-10 with a 350 in it. Well I have a faster Dak with a V-10! HAH!
In fact the current truck land speed record is held by a Dak with a Cummins diesel in it at over 217 mph! No Chevy of any type here or even close!

besides.. 14's sheet.. gone 13s on my sixer and putting a "stock" 400 Big Block in my truck right now... i hope that after my V8 transplant, i will do better than 14s... probably 12s

You people actually make no sense what so ever. All i'm doing is comparing engines here, saying that the 360 is a joke and junk engine. I dont have a 350 in my s10. I never said a 350 in an s10 is stock, I only mentioned a stock 350, not an s10 with a 350 being stock. And so, good luck with your engine swap, dont really get what your trying to claim anyways. Fact of the matter is, dakotas are pathedic for what they are, and all you people think they are "the sh*t" "my 4.7 crew cab 4X4 stock eats s10's all day" thats nothing but a joke, the only competetion these v6 s10's have are maybe the sports and r/t's. v10 in a dakota, yeah keep dreaming, who the fuk cares about a landspeed record too??
