Truck trend mag...the R/T posted a 0-60 time of 7.08 sec, passing through the quarter mile in 15.50 at 88.72 mph. we encountered a flat spot in its acceleration curve around 3500 rpm (nearing 70 mph) in third gear. This appears to be commonplace, as we've experienced this phenomenon with other R/Ts. at 15.4:1 the Dodge didn't fare as well in the power-to-weight ratio department......in conclusion, highly over rated truck

I will kill a s-10 with the same mods I have... I have a 04 dakota with the 3.7 k&n intake, with that stupid flap removed, bored out throttle body, custom pipes... It's quick for a 3.7 liter. I kill stock 4.7's all day and can hang with the 5.7 ram from light to light, but kills me after that.... So s-10's lets play....
On a diffrent note,
I was looking at the STS turbo kits for my dakota, has anyone installed one?

On the contrary, the new '07 Tundra with the 5.7 V8 and the 6-speed automatic is pretty damn quick. I would rather have GMC Sierra Denali with eh 6.3 V8 and 6-speed automatic though.

whoever psoted that link, when ur runnin a rod cycle liek a harley against a truck dnt expect to win, but u run a hayabusa against that truck n itl get dusted.
and im not saying chevy is better by far, cus i drive a dakota, but after driving my stepdads 07 chevy silverado smallblock v8, for the small block itl haul ass stock with nothin on it and outrun most trucks

Haha, I didn't read this thread, but today I raced my friends, one had a newer S-10 V6 RC, and the other had a Ram 1500 4x4 5.9L. I have a Dakota CC 4x4 with a 5.2L. I won of all three, guess who came in last? LMAO, S-10 owners kill me.
