S-10's are WAY better trucks....i have a 2003
chevy S-10 Xtreme and i smoke any dakota
that comes near me....and all u douche bags
thinking that a v8 dak will beat a s-10
truck...duh bigger engine = more power and
faster times. whats sad is my xtreme can
hang with them i throw one mod on my truck
and i will smoke the v8s....yea my truck is
bone stock and i roast v6 dakotas they got
nothin on chevys. my buddy is a die hard
dodge lover and hes got a 96 dak v6 with a
couple mods....and i destroy hime everytime
its ridiculous how much better my chevy
is....all you s-10's out there go ahead and give
the dakotas hell they are just jealous that they
are inferior to chevys and thats the truth

You know what dude. It seems to me that if your truck really could "smoke any dakota" that comes near you, then you would be getting your kicks out on the track. Instead you sit here and tell everyone who doesn't want to listen how big and bad your truck is. Why don't you just go to the track and race. Let your truck do all the talking for you. At least there, there might be some people who give a rats ass.

im not running it on the track till i get my
supercharger on it.....then that way i will
actually let the truck do all the talking but for
now all im saying is that dakotas cant touch
me....unless they are totally trucked out but i
dont consider a tricked out dakota a
dakota....its a tricked out truck....so my only
point is that my bone stock v6 xtreme could
take andy bone stock v6 dak any day of the
week....thats what it all comes down to

hey dood, have you ever seen the granetelli MAF? they are a lot more than just a screen removed... about 40% bigger in size, smoother, plastic (picks up less heat) and are not programmed the same as the stock MAF. For instance the one on my mom's Z is programmed for a dry nitrous shot. Helps the car run a little richer because it was really leaning out on the dyno.

the one we have is a granetelli (sp?).. its a lot different than stock and they do cost about $300. BUT.. they are nothing like stock... bigger bore, doesnt have the stoopid split metal down the metal and more... let me see if i can find pix.
oh, camaro is a 2000 Z28 with more than 400 hp on tap.

Just a further note there is a s10 extreme at my school and i raced him and we are dead fukin even.....but i raced a single cab s10 and it beat me by truck length up to 70 m.p.h. ur s10 extreme aint so bad...how about you come to robinson texas and shout off to mine cause i have raced 3 s10 extremes and beat 2 of the three the third one was dead even....in fact ill give him the win beacause he had about an inch or two on me...but thats ok because his truck is about 300-400 ilbs. lighter than our daks...we take of that much weight and our torque will chew your s10 to pieces....so shut up!

B4 I had my DAK I test drove every kind of truck I could from all the dealers.No other truck (in it's class)could out perform or out handle the dak X-cab w/ a 6.The S-10 had more body roll than a 15 year old Corolla and the interior seemed to be cheaply put together.I hate Ford ,and the Ranger was even a better deal than the S-10 for 2000..Also,I have never owned a vehicle(2000 Dak 5-speed V6) that so readily responds to any mod I make...
Daks ride like a sports car & for a long time I had to be out of the truck to remember that it WAS a truck.All you hatin' f%$ks out there that never drove a DAK,you wouldn't bash if you only knew how crappy your ride is compared to a dodge.

well according to trucktrend on the slalom, the dakota has achieved 63.23 mph and the S10 with a Zq8 package achieved 61.0 mph.
maybe you should go check out the stats before you ask other people to look it up...
... just a suggestion.
