 Subject: 96 2.5l wont start

I wasnt thinking and changed the fuel pump cause it wasnt running., after this it still wont start. I have jumped the relay and the pump fires, what should I check next? By the way I have looked at the wiring harness and nothing broken or corroded.

check for spark,
pull the coil wire out of the cap not the coil
hold it about an inch away from ground and have
someone turn the motor over and see if it sparks
If no spark and pump does not run while turning
it over you have a power problem
Check these things first and let us know than
someone would be in a better posision to help you

ok no fire and no pump startup. I have jumped the relay and the pump will come on. I have changed the ASD realy and the pump relay. With no sucess.
