Hey anybody that came help me. MY connection rods are knocking a little. Is there any way I can fix this. If there is please let me know. Please help me, I want to fix this before it becomes a big problem!!! I'm using 10w-40 oil now instead of the recommended 10w-30 am I doing something wrong?

How is your oil presure are you sure its not
the timing chain.

If there is to much clearance on the crank the
only way to fix it is to pull it get it ground
.010 under, resize the rods, plastiguage
everything and put it back togather.

New rings of course with a hone job or bore if
its real bad

i,ve got a 89 3.9,runs good 98k mi. $175 plus shipping.

check what Larry said,and a manual fuel pump can sound like a knock if the spring falls out or is weak,letting the arm slap back on return.
