I have been ponding what to do next.

The Layout:

I Have a 1998 Dakota Single Cab. It has a v6 3.9l.
So far I have gotten an air intake,Dual exaust, 180 temp, and a jet chip II. What should i do next? Whats the best HP/MPG Gain i can get for my money? I was thinking New wires, headers, power pullies or throttle body spacer.

Any sugestions?

throttle body spacer is worthless. toss the jet chip and buy an IAT adjuster from speedtweeks.net. just get the crank pulley if you wanna do pullies at all. i have the crank pulley on and it works really good. i've heard alot of people say that the best hp producing mod for these trucks is a good throttle body. usually 48mm ported billet tb, although those run $400 and up.

Care to add 1.5mph? MSD SuperConductor wires. ~$65-70. No noticeable power increase.

A single power pulley sounds to me like good bang for the buck, too. But TB spacer? Useless on the V6 like toxic13 said. Personally, my next mod will be a new throttle body or electic fan. I'd do the pulley, but I idle too much w/air on in the summer.

IAT is about the same?
Does it acualy sit in the modual
or do i have to program it?

How much? I could always get about
$200.00 for it on ebay.

the IAT adjuster is $35 from speedtweeks. it's not a chip, it splices into the sensor wires and tricks the computer into thinking the air temp in the manifold is colder than it actually is. the computer then ups the timing a few degrees and adds more fuel to the mixture thus adding power. it's fully adjustable from inside of the cab. the chip is booty, especially for over $200. sell it for that $$$ and either save up for a good TB, buy an electric fan ($180 i think) or buy a pulley/IAT adjuster/plugs and wires. that fan would really work well with your 180 t-stat.
