 Subject: vacum nipple on manifold

I was working on my dak a few days ago (replacing the
broken exhaust studs) and I noticed that on the passenger
side of the intake plenum there is a vacum nipple that is
not used and not plugged. it is right next to the vacum
nipple for the pcv. Does anyone know what that is for. I
can't seem to get a definite answer out of the haynes
manual.
