 Subject: ball joint replacement recomendation

Just had my trans serv and the dealer
told me that my upper and lower ball joints
were busted open, which they are.
the bad thing is the quoted me to get all
4 replaced at $600.00. Is that too high?
It seems like it. They quoted the price
of one of them being $78 just for the part.
Not to mention 4 hours of labor at $75 an hour.
How hard would it be to replace them my self?
What should i replace them with? Cause i belive
they have gone out twice now.
Any recomendations would be great

So far everyone I've read about on here has recommended getting the Moog ball joints.

Spicer makes a great replacement ball joint. They have tackled the specific problem facing Dakotas and Durrangos.
