Subject: larry please help IP: Logged
Message: my truck all of a sudden, when i tried to start it all it would do is click,, so i changed the starter , same thing only clicks , only once now i have no ignition power and the headlights don't work and the cluster doesn't work, but my accessories work, neons, dome light fog lights..
please help

Message: Before you replace the battery you should check the alternator....It could be your problem

Message: Take a volt meter and see what the Batt reads,
Now hit the start and see how much it drops.
If its not the Batt there are some other things
you can check but thats the best place to start

Message: 1 click = bad starter
lots of clicks = drained battery or corroded battery cable.
