Subject: Lift on stock wheels?
IP: Logged

Message:
I'm looking to put a 3" body lift on my '98 with 15x7 stock wheels. I want to put 31x10.5x15 if possible. Has anyone done this. If so, any pics?

I don't have money for new wheels right now. I haven't seen a lifted truck on these wheels anywhere. I just wanted to know if the tires will fit, and how they look.

I don't know about leaving stock wheels on it, but 15x8's with 31x10.5x15's would be good, but the 15x7's should work. and yous hould still keep almost all of your turning radius witht he lift.

I have a 4 inch body lift, and 33x12.5x15's on my truck with 15x8 wheels, and i have almost plenty of room for making sharp turns and stuff.

Not sure if the tires will fit on your wheels, but I know the tires and wheels will fit up under your fenders with little or no rubbing, and the only place it will rub is on the inside while making sharp turns.

As for the looks, it widens the body from the front, it makes the truck look a bit more agressive, and really makes them come to life. If you are serious about it, Iw ould go for it.
