I am parting out due to it being stolen lastnight and stills run and moves but is totaled was rolled a few times was well taken care drive train still very sound.

but if your interested i have a 89 4x4 auto v6
dak sport,runs good,no rust-some dings-2dents in bed,black ext-red int,needs windsheild,i bought it for a 360 transplant but i sold the motor.
$1200-1400 i,ll deliver 300 miles,i,m in maine.

Sorry but the only good parts on the truck are driveline the dash and interior all are busted when it rolled over.and 1 tail light is good.

The interior is gray I think the dash bezel is ok not really sure,no the flux capacitor is broken,it got broke on re-entry,the shifter is also broken where the two halves join together.
No sorry it doesn't have power windows unless hand power is want you want.

Naw, only go back to hand power if I can't replace the motor and it quits altoghter.
I meant to ask if they caught the bas***d that did it? I hope so and hope you get something out of it somehow.

So far the thieves haven't been caught yet and probably won't as we live in a rural town cops aren't to overly bright,as for the transmission it's a 5 speed I gave $800.00 for it rebuilt, and $150.00 for the clutch pressure plate,throw out bearing and pilot bearing,the only thing driveline that got hurt was the radiator,I would really rather find a new bodyfor the truck but they seem to be hard to come by good ones anyway,mine was well undercoated with 0 rust anywhere, oh well just glad they didn't get my new dodge 2500 4x4

I found this last week on the puter
This is the third Dakota I've had:
'93 Sport, with V6/5spd
'97 Sport, 318/5spd. Lowered, Mopar Muscle Magazine project truck, stolen by scumbag and stripped. (Hence, the subdued new truck)
I actually found the guy myself--TWICE. Once in Orlando on I-4 in the morning, several months after it happened. I looked in my rear view mirror and saw my bumper cover on the truck behind me. Got next to him, and it had my very rare Weld racing wheels on it. Got behind him, and it had my roll pan. Followed him to a 7-11, explained to the cop getting the donuts there that the parts were stolen, etc. and...The computer was down, so they couldn't check the records in any other counties, so it was my word against his. But he (the truck owner) lived in the same county I did, and she'd get in touch with the officer in charge of the case. Nothing ever happened.
About 6weeks later I saw the truck in my town, took the licence plate and called the officer in charge. "Well, since the insurance company settled with you, you're really not the victim anymore, they are. And to be honest, we're so overwhelmed and understaffed..."
No joke. Wanna steal a car? Polk County, Florida is the place to do it! Even caught red handed, the cops don't do a thing.
sorry, didn't mean to vent. Guess it's still a touchy subject!

Sorry I found an 1991 extended cad 2wd dakota
and cut the frame at the factory weld in the front and put the sec from my wrecked truck under it at the factory weld only had to extend the fuel and brake lines and add some wiring for the 4x4 but now it a extended cad whdrive dakota
and haven't seen another like it in that year
only thing I had to have custom built was a rear drive shaft cost about 130.00
