 Subject: Header leak..need help

I have a small leak at the #6 header pipe , where
it's welded to the plate , ( JBA Headers ),anyway , does ANYONE kknow if there is a product available , something like JB Weld ,that I could use to seal this leak?. It
would obviously have to with stand the high Temps.I really don't want to remove the header
and re-weld just for a "small" leak.

there is not any economical way to do it with some sort of glue or sealant, just get it welded, you can weld it on the truck just disconnect the battery cables.

mlp, Dude, you're just going to have to break down and remove it so you can weld it. Unless you can fit a MIG welder in there.

DO NOT weld the hole unless you have the headers recoated with Jet-Hot or something. I had the same problem about 5 years ago, had someone weld it, and a shortime after, the leak was worse. By welding the hole, you are removing whatever coating is on there and it will rust through very quickly. I dealt with the ticking for a few years because I didn't want to go back to the stock manifolds, but I'm on my second pair of JBAs now. I'm not sure, but the JBAs may have a warranty. It would suck to go back to the manifolds for awhile, but it would suck worse to screw up the headers and waste $400. BTW, mine had the standard NiCr coating and the driver side header without the hole was perfect after about 5 years of use.
