Well to settle this childish argument about dodge vs chevy
The chevy V6 is better as a racing eng. As most of you know they were used and still are in some racing in nascar and they KILL all other v6s
and fro the last word?
Most would rather have a WHORE for a sister than a DODGE....(reworked ford) in there garage!

my whole turn onto dodge dakota's is it's wide look, i could careless about its power, even though it has plenty of it for a truck of that size.
The s-10, looks like a dildo on wheels though. probably vibrates like one when going down the road too.

um hold on larry i bought my dak for racing
the fact is that i have driven both the 4.3 and th 3.9 and the three nine just simple has more balls in my opinion
as far as the 4.3 goes it basically comes down to who has more money under the hood and stock whos the better driver i beat about 60% of the 4.3 i race

should I point the biggist bomb of v6 a ever produced,it was by chevy by the way. any one else remember that 2.8L v6 that came on the early s10s. Id rather not.
I went through 2 motors on that truck, two busted cranks. both motors leaked oil like a faucet out the rear crank seal. and despite a half dozen attempts I never could get them sealed up for more than a few months. and oh what wonderfull power, I can remember not quite being able to do 110km/h downhill. That truck went faster in 4th gear than in 5th

As far as the V-6 in NASCAR, the only series that uses a V-6 is the Goodys Dash cars. The Cup and Busch cars use V-8's. The Chevy 4.3 has no bearing on NASCAR at all.

i had one of those 2.8s for 7 years. bored it 60 over put in a crane cam, headers and a chip. It must have had about 105 hp when i was done. I guess it was for the best because if it did have any power then the trans would have gone out AGAIN!!
