Message: I have a 1987 dodge dakota 3.9 V-6 and i was wondering if anyone knows what kind of axles they have and what kind of rear end. I bought the truck and it didnt have a owners manual. Im also looking for performance parts and a lift. I just got some 31.10.50's and was told they would rub. Thanks

Message: It should be a 8.25 and I would guess either 3.21
or 3.55 ratio
If your talking spline it should be 27

Message: Thanks. Im getting into four wheelin and was trying to do stuff with my truck. They kept talking about Dana axles and wasnt sure if i had them or could get them. I want to put some lockers on if at all possible. Am getting a 2 inch body lift from performance accesories.

Message: They are chrysler rear ends but you can get the
dana power trax to install for posi.
All you need to do is pull the axles, remove the
pin and spider gears and install the unit.
Not nessasary to dismantle the whole assy
I will be installing one in a 94 ram with 3.92
gears sometime soon in the front the rear is sure
grip making this truck a true 4 wheel drive
