Ok on my way home last night I hit the high beam on some a**hole and then I hit the switch to turn
the high beams off and I had no headlights. My high beams worked but no regular headlights.
How do I fix this problem?

Check the switch that is on the lower part of
the steering colum under the dash.

I own a 1999 Dodge Dakota and experienced the same problem, with possibly the same A**hole, and I had to replace the multifunction switch(turn signal lever)and the problem was fixed. The cost was around $68.00, but I think the A**hole is still on the loose..
