Subject: Stall and no run IP: Logged
Message: I have a 94 V6 that quit while driving. Acted like it ran out of gas, but tank >1/2. Would start right up, only idle at several hunderd rpm then then die right away. Giving it gas did not help. Let it sit for > 1 hour and still would not run. Let it sit overnight and it started fine and ran.
My first guess is the PCM. Any other ideas?
thanks

Message: My 92 would stall while driving back in the day. It surged and died at any speed. It was a bad coil. I bought all kinds of crap to try and fix it, and that's what it ended up being. I would try that. Just my 2 pecos.

Message: Also check for codes (51)...O2 sensor may be on it's way out. Will cause hot engines to stall like they are running out of gas.
To test: disconnect sensor @ connector & hook ohm meter to the white wires. Sensor ok if it reads 5-7 ohms. Baaddd if it is a open reading.

Message: Thanks for the help.
I was the fuel pump. The test gage should full pressure when we first checked it, then rechecked it later and showed 10 psi.

Message: Belly pan gasket.
LOL, had to do it. Try the muffler bearings...sorry.
Try the IAC. Might be dead or need cleaning.
