Message: Hello all I have had my dakota for 30 days and I have been doing cosmetic inprovements and mods to my new 2003 Dakota..
I have put a hard tonnaue cover on and vent shade over the side windows and taillight covers and K&N cold air intake..I just got in the mail my Dynomax muffler everyone says sounds good on there 3.9 and I have the new v-8 throttle body that needs to be installed.. I also run 0w-30 Amsoil synthetic in my 3.9 since 1000 miles, I now have 3000 miles on the truck right now..
The question I have after I install muffler, throttle body, and in conjuction with my cold air intake can I expect to have 200 hp out of my 3.9??
I also am going to put on a cowl induction hood and window tinting and a new font airdam, and speed grill.. Well thanks for any help you can give.. Cya Slick

Message: Go with the Headers if you want to top the 200 mark. I found JBA Crome Headers for the 3.9 on www.ajusa.com for $370.97, Shipping included! And Silver Ceramic OR Titanium Ceramic coated for $524.97 (OUCH!)
Good Luck,
Shank
