how much of a dry shot can the stock fuel system take on a 96 3.9? also, how much can the bottom end take assuming you keep the a/f ratio and cylinder temps reasonable?

Thanks,
Vigo

actually im thinking about building my own setup as an educational experience and was planning on just doing a dry shot to keep it simple. only needs to be functional to prove that i didnt mess something up.

so what, like 40 shot dry?

Wet is way more "simple" then dry and keepin your a/f is a no brainer with wet.
I doubt anyone has a quick answer to your question because dry inst simple, you must add fuel with your stock injection system to match the amount of N2O your putting in. do you have a plan?
If you insist on dry then you will have to put in an a/f meter and see for yourself.

Good luck

yes, i plan on letting the computer do what it normally does to compensate for more air.. increase the injector cycle until they are maxed. at what hp level the stock fuel system is at its limit is really what im asking.

if i plan on running something too big for the stock parts i will probably buy bigger injectors and watch the o2 voltage and maybe modify the map signal a little bit when necessary.

i havent looked at the truck TOO closely yet, can anyone tell me whether it is a returned or returnless fuel system? hoping it is returned.

nope, Return system was only '92-'94. They quit the return system in '95 along with the EGR System.

Good luck w/your NOS. Hope you don't melt it.

No return on 94's Shank, 92-3's were the only ones and they are worth having.
