 Subject: 572 crate

I was thinking about dropping a monster 572 (702hp) GM powerplant in my 94 ext cab dakota. Does anyone know if this would fit and if so i will have to switch out the axel and gears. The next thing i will have to figure out is how am i gonna keep this truck on the pavement?

Your going to put a GM motor in your dak. Mopar does make some nice motors but if you want to go with GM, I 't think anyone is going to stop you. I just dout that anyone here is going to know if it is going to fit.

I saw on a hot rod program about a year ago that mopar makes a hemi conversion for the Dakota. Why don't you look into that?
