2 things,

The rod that is connected to the body for park
must snap into place when the body goes up.

The next thing you may have the shift lever
upside down

It's a Pain but I have to use a magnetized screw driver. I take off the clip that holds the park rod in place. Set my park rod & then install the Valve Body. I use the magnetized screw driver to balance the C-clip until I get it ligned up and snapped into place. Patience & perserverance!

Which shift Kit did you install?

Please tell us how it runs. I'm gonna purchase a shift kit next. Performance motors in the works!
