Message: It would be one sexy RAM! But for a Dakota, in my opinion the front end is to wide going up if that makes any sence. The grill looks like it is big enough to be for a Ram. Just my 2 cents.

Message: That is butt ugly. Why mess with a great design? Too much euro influence on these new autos. What happened to good old American muscle car styling?

Message: I love the hood design, but like DakSlt2000 said, it looks too much like a Ram. I personally don't care for the current Ram bodystyle and I'm not too thrilled about the front end on that Dakota bodystyle. Demon is right...all the new vehicles these days all got too much Euro influence.

Message: As I am sure you all really care to hear my story I am going to tell you anyway. I have to frustrated and well, flat out pissed off at the designs on new cars and trucks I have transfered from Columbus State University to here at Savannah College or Art and Design to major in Product Design because I decided that I want to design cars and trucks more than go in to buisness. I as sick and tired of watching good looking cars be bastardised to make them look "futuristic." The best looking cars came out of the muscle car era of the late 60's early 70's and that is what I am aiming to make cars and trucks look like if I have anything to do with it. I say back to the basics with styleing.

Message: I love the design of my gen III but it can't go on forever. The new Dakota will be fresh and hopefully they won't be the big pieces of turd under the sheet metal that the current Daks are.
DC is facing enormous pressure from the Japanese makes and the new GM Colorado/Canyon is sure to take away a healthy chunk of the midsize market. DC has already conceded the midsize SUV market to GM and Ford, releating their Jeep and Dodge brands to 5th and and 8th resp.
If things at DC's Chrysler division keep going the way they're going, this whole argument will be moot. Chrysler and Dodge will just be rebadged Mercedes design built in Mexico.

Message: Sweet, a Mini-Ram! But how do I hook up my Deer-Killer Brushguard?
Is it just me or does it look like a bottom row of teeth comung out from the bumper? A truck with an underbite? Not liking the bumper but the hood and fender styling is nice.

Message: I was looking on the V8 page for some strange reason that I don't know why, but I found this: http://www.eek3.net/upload/files/PA030310a.JPG, I was inspired to write a letter to Dodge asking what drug they were on when they gave the ok for this and where I could find them. I will be very amused if they answer me back.

Message: LOL!
The sad thing is they were not on drugs when they designed it.
If they were on drugs then they could explain why it looks that way.
Granted some things do look great but that grill is just way to big for the truck.
And the lights just don't look quite right.

Message: if you guys look back at the durango concept a year or so ago, and the SRT concept... all they did was cut and paste the front end of the durango on the SRT-10. You can even read the SRT-10 on the side of that pic
