Message: I have a 98 dakota with a 3.9 automatic trans 4 wheel drive. When I am going up hill it acts like it is missing or is not getting fuel. I am running 60 and it acts like for a second it is not getting fuel but it keeps on running. It does not do this going down hill or on straight land but it does do it going up hill. Anybody have an idea about what is wrong?

Message: the 3.9,s are,nt strong in the hills when it comes to speed.
but if you had the truck awhile and this is something new.
try a new fuel filter.about $15.
a tune up plugs,wires and cap,rotor button.
also a bottle of fuel injector cleaner.
good luck
