Message: I have an Airaid intake for my '99 V6. I bought a 6" S&B Powerstack filter and a 6" 360 Air Intakez heat shield (black chrome).
I removed the rubber flap up front and mounted everything up. The performance gains over stock are extremely noticable as are the gains over the "stock" Airaid.
This set up is fairly expensive, but it looks like factory and and performs sweet.
With the open end of the Powerstack filter right behind the grill, and the way the Airaid intake itself is shaped, the ram air effect works great. And the heat shield keeps the fan from blowing hot air into the filter.
Just thought I would share, I'm always tinkering with something!
Sorry, but I don't know how to post pics.

Message: To post pictures upload your pictures to a photo hosting website... not a free website like geocities, etc. Something like http://www.photoisland.com
Get the URL of the photo and do this:
Type (img src=https://nav.ebutechnologies.com/securing/free-anon.cgi/542/http://www.dodgedakota.net/cgi-bin/amb/"InsertPhotoURLHere")
Replace ( with < and ) with >
Hope that helps...

If you have Norton antivirus and it says you have a bat.quickformat.trojan when you access this post, it's not true. I was told that if you put that line in a message it will trip Norton. It's just a bug with Norton, there's not really any virus. Just testing it..
