Hey boys I have a lil guy who has a 96 2.0L Avenger who wants to race me I have a 3.9 with 3.92 sure-grip and a homebrew intake and I just took at good run on a 351 HO bronco and beat him by about 100 feet and this Avenger has a intake and muffler. He is like 5 foot and 100 pounds so his ride is lighter but I think that I could take him what about you?

just do it.....if you lose you don't have to tell us!j/k....you should be able to beat him...what is that 2.0 L a fourbanger with twin cams....like the talon motor or is it one cam? at the most he would be pushing 150 horsies....intake and mufflers really don't help 4 bangers get off the line...they just help with top end..

okay old post... but you can take him... I took one with a 02 RC 3.9 3.55 5-speed dead stock... I gave him 2 car legnths and took him. He was looking at my tailgate by 60ish.

I have a 3.5 V6 dodge avenger that my dad put togather it came with a 2.5 V6 he has a cold air intake and a raceing cam its pushing 280hp now thats a avenger for you to jump on a dodge dokota would be like a escort compared to my avenger
