Message: a true duel exhuast would not be a god mod for the truck. it would lose way to much back pressure and you would lose alot of low end torque from it. for the ehxuast just change ur muffler get a 2 1/2 inlet with a 2 1/2 outlet. the mufflers with the duel outlets for sum reason will cause us to lose more low end too. in my opinion i thin kthat the best mods for your truck would be a cold air intake (you can make it your self) v8 thottle body swap, relocate your ait sensor from the manifold to the intake. it cost about $1 to do. and if your looking to go down this road you can pick up a set of 1.7roller rockers

Message: The best mod for making a V6 quicker is to buy a V8.
Quit your job at Burger King, go back to school and get an education and get a better job so you can afford a V8.
I know starting over after quitting in grade 2 is hard but you can do it, Timmy. You might also learn about doing searches and find out that you're the 500th moron to ponder aloud this very stupid question

Message: and with the "500th moron to ponder aloud this very stupid question" comes the 500th jackass to reply "v8" as if replacing a V6 with a V8 answered the original question of "What are the best mods to get for a v6"...
actual mods are:
1.7 roller rockers
V8 throttle body
msd hardware
headers
cold air intake
performance muffler
awaiting big block install

Message: V8 I gotta v6 and I'm probably one of those guy's you show up in a coruroy suit jacket and leather tie to ask for a job! Don't worry though, one day you'll mature, move out of the trailer park and/or your parents care and realize that helping someone is far better than being an ass.

Message: ScOtT,you gotta let that engine breathe.ANY piston engine responds well to mods which open up intake&exhaust.3"k&n or comparable set-up,V8 throttle body(usually real cheap on EBAY)Crower and Mopar make tall roller rockers for the magnums. My v6 magnum responded best to the rollers. After intake(actually WHILE doing intake)it is best to do the exhaust as well.JBA makes headers for our v6's(I think Gibson does too but never seen them)and a good catback exhaust(cat-back,meaning behind the last cat converter). After the breathing is improved, anything you can do to make the spark brighter and longer(20 d/g dwell or less) will aid in pony gains. It is best to do research before you buy a product for performance gain, because you don't want to kill all of your botom end torque to gain hi rpm horsepower. You have to find a happy medium.IOW,you should decide if you want tire peeling take off or high powerband. In my experience you can't have both unless you drop a MClaren F11 v-12 in your truck.Good luck finding a salvage motor hee heehaw.hope I steered you in the right direction.Simple equation--air flow=HP AND what will blow up a gas station faster...a Bic lighter or blow torch?
