Subject: Removing Lettering IP: Logged
Message: I'm putting my old D-50 on the market this weekend, and need to strip off the old "DODGE" lettering off the tailgate before people start coming to see it. It's peeling away at the edges and where it used to say "DODGE" in bold letters, it's like seeing it in a much smaller font now.
Qustion is: How the devil do you get this stuff off without tearing up the paint?

Message: When you remove the old lettering, you're still going to see DODGE there, because the paint around the area will have faded more than where the letters were.

Message: I use a hair drier to remove bumper stickers and those logos from car dealers.

Message: I'll try the hair dryer, since I don't have a heat gun. And a little shadow won't both me - it'll look better than it does now.
